Committee Volunteers
You, our members, are the foundation of the association. Your talent and expertise in dealing with all aspects of college transition are needed in order for us to do our work! Your continued interest and support is what makes IACAC an outstanding organization. If you have an interest in becoming involved with a committee, please take a moment to fill out the form below and the appropriate committee chair will be in contact with you with further information.

Admissions Practices: monitors admissions practices and procedures, recommends policy positions, and acts as a liaison with NACAC.
Credentials: reviews all revisions to the IACAC constitution and bylaws and makes recommendations to the membership regarding these changes.
Congress: plans congress (program sessions, accommodations, venue, entertainment, registration, exhibitors, speakers, meals, etc).
Educational Calendar: coordinates the college day/night fair calendar and works with high schools in planning and implementing these programs.
Finance: works with the treasure concerning financial matters.
Handbook: works with the editing, printing, and distribution of the IACAC handbook.
Human Relations: makes recommendations for expanding the membership and increasing the participation of under-represented counselors.
Government Relations: explores ways of interacting with the federal government, state legislature, and updates membership on state and national issues.
Long Range Planning: works with the President-elect in recommending projects and activities for IACAC.
Membership: assists with recruiting activities, including new member registrations, as well as membership renewal.
Newsletter: produces quarterly newsletter and distributes to membership.
Professional Development: develops and implements professional education workshops, retreats, and seminars throughout the state for the association.
Retirees: advises members on issues related to retirement and helps to promote the continued membership of retired professionals.
Technology: oversees the development of the IACAC web page, functions as the webmaster, and works to assure that information is shared with the membership in a timely fashion.
