Dear Colleague,

This letter is your official invitation to the IACAC Admission and Financial Aid Congress: “Keeping It Real” to be held October 26-28, at the Westin Hotel downtown Indianapolis. The Congress Committee has been hard at work planning a gala of educational sessions for your education and enjoyment.

The Westin Hotel is located on 50 South Capital Ave. (by the RCA Dome/conference center) in Indianapolis. New guidance counselors: don’t forget to attend the New High School Counselors Adventures, which opens Congress on Sunday, October 26.

A lunchtime performance by the Center Grove High School Choir is sure to put a smile on your face! Make plans to relax and attend the Social at the end of the afternoon on Monday. The Social will feature our 2nd year for the Silent Auction. Items for bidding will surely please all! Monday will also feature the Wellness Room, back by popular demand! Don’t forget that Tuesday is Casual Day! Be sure to wear your high school or college apparel!

Please choose the sessions that you plan to attend, mark them on the enclosed form and send it to Marissa Henley, the registration chairperson. Please note that each college wishing to have a table at the College Fair at the close of Congress will be asked to submit a $25.00 fee to help offset the cost of the fair. (One fee per college, not per person!) You must be registered for congress to attend the college fair on Tuesday.

You are responsible for making your own hotel arrangements. This year the cost of the hotel will be $135.00 (single, double, and triple or quad occupancy) per night. A block of rooms will be held at this price until August 22nd. We also encourage you to begin making your hotel arrangements by calling the Westin at 1-800-Westin-1, or visit them on the website: www.starwood.com/westin/meetings/attend_enter_code.html. Be sure to mention that you are attending the IACAC Congress to get the conference rate, and our conference code is #3642.

The Congress Committee and Stefanie Niles, Program Chair, have spent months working hard to bring together a great Congress! See you there!

Sincerely,

Brandy Scott-Candler
